Strategic Communications has quickly become my passion. People drive the world and in the Public Relations and Advertising industry every day is different; new clients, audiences and brands who all have a story. It is just our job to tell it. Welcome to my online portfolio, my name is Lindsay Honaker and I am an aspiring Strategic Communications Professional. During my time at the University of Nevada, Reno I had many insightful opportunities to gain real world experiences through leadership positions, two national advertising and public relations competitions and internships spanning from the California Governor’s Office to working in-house at the University of Nevada, Reno Marketing and Communications department. I am a doer, speaker and a writer who survives off of coffee and skittles.
“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do” – Steve Jobs

“After serving as Panhellenic President she volunteered to be Co-Chair of the Fraternity and Sorority Strategic Plan. She did this all while maintaining a high GPA, completing a variety of internships, and serving as a member of multiple award winning marketing and journalism competition teams. I truly believe that this journey at the University of Nevada, Reno is only the beginning for Lindsay.”

She is a wonderful voice of reason to have helping to guide Tri Delta and UNR
Panhellenic, and is nothing short of wonderful to work with”.
Cassie Wilson, Tri Delta Area Advisor
“Lindsay is one of those few women that set themselves apart in everything she does. She has an ability to listen and understand that few people I met in my life have. She speaks when necessary but commands all attention in the room when she does so. She is a powerful leader and has epitomized what it means to be a student leader at the University”
